3. **Soak in Water:**
- Submerge the scored pomegranate in a bowl of water. This helps loosen the seeds and prevent splattering.
4. **Break Apart:**
- Gently break the pomegranate into sections along the scored lines.
5. **Release Seeds:**
- While submerged in water, use your fingers to separate the seeds from the membrane. The seeds will sink to the bottom, and the membrane will float.
6. **Strain and Enjoy:**
- Scoop out the floating membrane, then strain and drain the seeds. The water helps prevent staining, and you're left with clean, edible pomegranate seeds.
